HIGHEST TEST SCORES OF SIMPSON COUNTY SCHOOLS!!!!!!

  In three years, Mendenhall High School has improved test scores by 67% to lead all Simpson County schools in Quality Distributive Index (QDI) with 177.  Yes, we are proud of our accomplishment, but it is because we have come so far in such a short period of time.

   Our school improvement can be attributed to the combined effort of an excellent staff of educators setting high standards and relentlessly pursuing excellence with a sense of urgency rarely seen in districts across the state.  A special effort by the MHS SATP teachers who gave up prep periods to tutor and gave up time after school to prepare students are to be credited for these scores.

   The faculty and staff at Mendenhall High School deserve a commendation for their effort, dedication, and commitment.

    Students at MHS are to be credited for accepting and meeting the challenge of not only just passing tests and making the grade but reaching higher so that they can achieve excellence in education.
