Immunization Information
Children entering a Mississippi school (pre-kindergarten to 12th grade) for the first time are required to have had the following vaccinations.


*Diptheria, Tetnus, Pertussis (DTaP)
*Polio (IPV)
*Hepatitis B
*Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR)
*Chickenpox (Varicella)

If your child is entering the seventh (7th) grade, either by advancing or transferring in, a pertussis (Tdap) booster is now required if they have not received a Tdap vaccination since the age of seven.

Students entering school for the first time will need a certified copy of their birth certificate. A certified copy may be obtained from MS Department of Health Vital Records Division 601.206.8200
Residency Requirements
The parent(s) or legal guardian(s) of a student seeking to enroll must provide the district with at least two of the items numbered 1 through 5 listed below as verification of their address. A post office box will not be accepted.

1. Filed Homestead Exemption Application form

2. Mortgage documents or property deed

3. Apartment of home lease

4. Utility bills (electric, gas, water, garbage,
internet, cable, or landline phone.

5. Automobile registration
