Mendenhall Elementary welcomed parents of third-grade students for its 3rd Grade Parent Literacy Meeting on Monday, September 28.

During the meeting, parents heard from Mendenhall Elementary teachers and representatives from the Mississippi Department of Education about the 3rd Grade Reading Assessment. The meeting provided families with information about the assessment and ways they can support their students throughout the school year.

Families also had the opportunity to enjoy ice cream during the event.
