ACT Most Growth Awards
The ACT Most Growth Award is an incentive program sponsored by Peoples Bank and given to students at Magee High School and Mendenhall High School. This program encourages students to take the ACT often and to do prep work to improve their scores.
The top student who has shown the most growth on the ACT between August 2022 and April 2023 will receive a check from Peoples Bank in the amount of $250. An example of this would be a student who took the ACT in October and scored a 17 and retook the test in February and scored a 23. After working on their low areas, the student grew 6 points.
The following students below, received the ACT Growth Award from August 2022 and August 2023:
-
Mendenhall High School: Landon McKinnie and Jackaline Sills
-
Magee High School: Carson Harper and Edmya Turner
