Magee Elementary proudly honors Mrs. Amanda Welborn as OUR Parent of the Year. A devoted wife and mother of four, Mrs. Welborn is a 2007 Magee High School graduate whose children have all attended Magee schools. She has served in key leadership roles, including Band Booster President, Goal Club President, and PTO Secretary. Over the past two years, she has also coached City League 3–4-year-old soccer and volunteered at numerous school events. Her dedication, support, and commitment to creating a positive environment for all students make her an outstanding partner to our school community.

Magee Elementary proudly recognizes Keyuna Floyd-Draughn as OUR Teacher of the Year. With 12 years of dedicated service—all at Magee Elementary—Keyuna brings passion and excellence to the classroom as a 4th grade math teacher. Keyuna holds a Master of Education and is currently pursuing a Specialist in Educational Leadership. A previous 2017–2018 Teacher of the Year and MAE Innovative Educator Award recipient, Keyuna continues to model professionalism and innovation in education. Keyuna is also a devoted spouse and parent of four children, balancing family and career with unwavering commitment to our school community.
