Excitement fills the halls as students return across the district

On Monday, August 4, 2025, campuses across the Simpson County School District came alive with smiles, high-fives, and fresh school supplies as students returned for the first day of the 2025-2026 school year.

From pre-K to high school, students were greeted by teachers, administrators, and staff ready to start the year strong. Schools embraced the day with cheerful decorations, warm welcomes, and an atmosphere full of excitement and hope for what's ahead.

This year, the district moves forward with a new focus under the motto "Don't just be, be the best!"– a call to action that encourages every student, teacher, and staff member to bring their best each day.
