The Office of Child Nutrition proudly serves more than 3,000 students from the communities of Magee, Mendenhall, and Pinola. Each day, we strive to provide a nutritious breakfast and lunch, as our mission is the nutrition of every student in the Simpson County School District (SCSD).
In the Office of Child Nutrition, we foster happy, healthy and successful children by providing the right fuel they need for growing, learning, and developing. This is accomplished by offering our children nutrition education resources, along with nutrient-rich foods and beverages that follow the USDA Nutrition Standards Guidelines.
